Brewood CE Middle Academy is a middle school catering for ages 9 to 13 years. It is a co-educational state church school. Most pupils join the school in Year 5 from one of their four feeder schools. Children generally move from here to Wolgarston High School, in Cannock Road, Penkridge. The original building was a Grammar School from the early 18th Century to the 1970s.
