Weston Park

Weston Park is a stately home set in 1,000 acres of parkland just over 6 miles from Brewood. It was gifted to the nation in 1986 by the 7th Earl of Bradford. It is now owned and maintained by the Weston Park Foundation, an independent charitable trust. All proceeds go contribute to the maintenance and conservation of the estate. Annual Membership gives you unlimited access to the House, Park and Gardens during the ‘open season’, and free or discounted entry to certain Park Events. Weston Park’s regular Behind the Scenes tours take place throughout the ‘open season’, giving a fascinating glimpse into the world of the staff at Weston Park throughout the ages. The park hosts a number of outdoor events throughout the year including the Midland Game Fair, CamperJam, Food and Craft Festivals, and Enchanted Weston at Christmas.

The house with its 28 bedrooms is available to hire for exclusive use for private house parties, weddings and events. There are also six unique holiday cottages on the estate, each with their own individual character, and set in different areas of the vast estate. To book a stay visit Rural Retreats.

The park was landscaped by Capability Brown and the estate is open for visitors to explore and enjoy throughout the ‘open season’ in the summer months. The 4.5 acre Walled Garden is open 10am to 4pm throughout the year, and is free to enter. It contains a vegetable garden, an orchard with many different varieties of apples, and a Maze (closed in winter).

The Granary, a former great barn built in 1767, has been restored and is now home to a Brasserie which serves seasonal breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee and cake, and dinner, all year round. I believe the Granary Pizza & Waffle Kitchen is open in season. The Granary Art Gallery on the first floor is open from 11am to 4pm throughout the year, and is free to enter.
